HYMNE de la NATURE

Bachas is a small village situated in the Comminges, in the region of the Haute-Garonne, far from all commotion and annoyances, in the heart of our simple and peaceful countryside.
The old water mill, on the outskirts of the village, is a haven of peace where verdant Nature reigns, lulled by the rhythm of the hours chimed out by the bells of the church tower. A fantastic orchestra, composed of all sorts of birds and insects, amply harmonizes and accompanies the sound of water flowing down the nearby river and canal. The blowing of the wind, the thunder and the rain join in on occasion. A delightful and fascinating univers calling to mind the origins of the world.
This album has been made with the view in mind of sharing this enchantment with you. It is in fact a "picture" of sound linking some sequences of actual recordings of life around the water mill from dawn to dusk, in spring through to summer.
My pan pipes, the harps of Katrine Horn and Elisabeth Valletti have not been able to resist joining their voices, if only for some minutes, in this concert of Nature in a symbolic evocation.
